Busy, busy, busy

It was quite a weekend. Again. I don't know how we manage to be SO busy all the time. Friday night, we met up with the Curleygirl parentals and brother for dinner at the American Wing Company (or something) up the road. The funny thing is that their specialty is a fried grouper sandwich. Go figure. Saturday night, we met the Curleyboy parentals out for Japanese. Sunday night, we went across the street to the neighbors for a shrimp boil. Just as well with all the dining out, because I don't feel like cooking.

The highlight of the weekend is a 10-day trial for World of Warcraft. I love it! It's much faster than Everquest and much more imaginative. I'm partial to the cartoony, fantasy-type games. Forget all the realism, which just bogs down the computer. WOW doesn't jump around, rarely lags, you don't have to constantly wait for different areas to load - you just walk in! Needless to say, we may be buying a couple new games this weekend, before the trial is up. Guess I know what I'll be doing during my "free" time during maternity leave.

Back to the neighbor's dinner. We finally got to meet our next door neighbors. They had a little girl about 2 months ago. It's great! She'll be home another month, then working part time also. We talked about sharing childcare in the future so both of us part time mothers might be able to entice someone to work for us. Plus our little girls will have a playmate next door. The Next Doors are also big gamers. They both play D&D, which P loves. Maybe we'll end up with a neighborhood D&D campaign. Something to keep P busy so I can play WOW. :) As you can tell, we continue to LOVE our neighborhood. Normal, suburban neighbors. Can't wait for the pool to open this weekend!
